Format: Lecture-Style Self-Study Online Seminar
Introduction
SWEET is starting its 1-hour lecture-style seminar series and “Learning Genograms” is the first one. In this lecture-style seminar, you will learn the uses and the benefits of genograms, and how to implement them in patient care. This lecture-style series is open to all mental health professionals at all levels. And if you are licensed in New York as a psychologist, social worker, mental health counselor, or CASAC, you will be able to earn 1 CEU from each one lecture-style seminar. We are excited to be adding this series, and we look forward to your joining us!
What you’ll learn
At the end of this online seminar, you will have:
- Learned the Why of genograms, their benefits, their uses, and the implementation thereof in practice.
- Learned how genograms are created and the major types of information contained in genograms that can be used to enhance the care of our patients and clients.
- Learned the 3 major types of relationships captured by a genogram, and master how to make use of them to elevate our clients.
