Introduction
You already know that rules are a set of explicit or understood regulations or principles that govern conduct within a particular activity or sphere. You also likely know that everything follows a set of rules, and for behavior changes to take place, some specific rules are in order. Yet, while you already know lots of rules that govern behavior change, it has been rather challenging for our patients and clients to have sustainable outcomes. They either have difficulty starting, or they start and stop, and they often end up losing all hope.
Do you have any patients or clients in this category whose life you might change significantly if you could simply show them what’s been missing? If so, please join us and be certain to leave this lecture-style seminar having met the following objectives.
What you’ll learn
At the end of this online seminar, you will have:
- A full understanding of the role of genetics, environment, and epigenetics in behavior change, and learned how to implement that in clinical care.
- Learned what will help your patients and clients start, what will make them stick to it, and mastered how to tailor it all to your patients and clients.
- Learned 6 practical rules that your patients and clients can use throughout the day, and mastered how to make these rules a large part of your client’s treatment plan.
Who is this for?
This course is for any clinician invested in learning new or honing existing skills to be able to use in dynamic ways to support their patients and clients and to end suffering.
Here’s what attendees have been saying about SWEET seminars:
“Life-changing information for self and others you want to help.” – Leslie, LMSW
“Practically all of the patients I work with have a paralyzing and fatal disease, and plenty of anxiety. This seems an excellent treatment method for patients with anxiety. For patients in private practice who have a very difficult time chipping away at their neuroses, I think the various rules could make for quicker change and more relief for them.” – Susan, LCSW-R
“Lots of useful tools and conceptualization.” – Robert, PhD
