“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” – Viktor Frankl

What will you learn each week from this Certificate Course?

Session 1: Logotherapy: The Fundamentals

“Those who have a ‘why’ to live, can bear with almost any ‘how’.” – Viktor Frankl

  4. The research findings for Logotherapy
  5. Viktor Frankl’s Path

“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor Frankl

In Session 2, we will explore the principles and techniques of Logotherapy. We will cover:

Sessions 3 and 4: Logotherapy: Its Implementation and the Practice

“Don’t aim at success. The more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one’s personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one’s surrender to a person other than oneself.” – Viktor Frankl

In Sessions 3 and 4, we will explore how to implement and practice Logotherapy. We will cover:

  1. Technique implementation
  2. Finding purpose in pain
  3. Logotherapy and anxiety
  4. Logotherapy and neurosis
  5. Logotherapy and depression
  6. Logotherapy and OCD
  7. Logotherapy and psychosis
  8. Logotherapy and beyond

During this 4-Week Certificate Course, you will become familiar with Logotherapy. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to implement some of its principles and techniques as an adjunctive treatment for clients for whom so many things have failed to work.
