Implicit biases, stereotypes, microaggressions, prejudices, cognitive biases, stigma, discrimination – so many terms used indiscriminately, yet with a profound impact on our patients and clients, on how we practice, and on us as clinicians. How do we use these terms in a clinically relevant way for the sake of our clients, and to enhance our practice and level of awareness?
