Introduction

What if we took some time to look at and address the root cause of suicide? What if we could truly work with our patients and clients to thoroughly assess them, powerfully help them prevent suicide, and facilitate their sense of empowerment once and for all.

Here’s what attendees have been saying about SWEET seminars:
“I work in a community-based outpatient mental health center and came into the training with some fears about the increase in suicides in the community, not necessarily in the clinic, especially since the pandemic. I left feeling more confident about talking about the subject, including saying the word, in a way that is different from the way I have been traditionally trained.” – Sonia, LCSW-R
“I have had to deal with this topic several times since the beginning of the COVID pandemic and found this material to be helpful. Acknowledgement that suicide is contagious was an eye-opener for me.” – Chauncey, LMSW
“I thought the content was important and the presentation was very effective. Continuing to learn and develop my skillset. The presenter was clear, concise, and engaged the group effectively.” – Charles, LCSW
