Introduction
You likely know that desire is one of the 3 pillars to behavior change and of goal achievement. You also likely know that desire can be a double-edged sword for our patients and clients. What most of us have not mastered is how to help our patients and clients navigate the world and their wants in a way that does not have to leave them frustrated, stuck, or even willing to just give up.
In this seminar, we are going to explore the world of disappointment, the world of attachment, and the world of judgments. We also are going to learn and master skills leading us to meet the following objectives.
What you’ll learn
At the end of this online seminar, you will have:
- An understanding of misery, its source, and how to break its pattern.
- Learned the mechanisms of fear and authentic love, and the relationship with desire, wants, hate, and love.
- Explored the paradox of giving, and some main characteristics of love that can make a significant difference for our patients and clients.
Who is this for?
This course is for any clinician invested in learning new or honing existing skills to be able to use in dynamic ways to support their patients and clients and to end suffering.
