We know that CBT leads to greater brain activations in several regions of the frontal lobe, and that it leads to increased connectivity between the amygdala and frontal regions. We also know there are changes in the precentral gyrus, the precuneus, and the insula. But all this means nothing unless we can really make sense of it.
The goal of Neuroanatomy Made Simple is to do just that – to help all of us, clinicians, be fully informed whether we are talking about brain changes made possible by either CBT or by any other form of therapy.

Note this is a series but we will work on having each part stand alone to make sure everyone can attend any time.
